Ebony White is a Senior Program Manager of the Racial Wealth Divide Initiative at Prosperity Now in Washington, DC. In this role, she supports the Racial Wealth Divide team to strengthen the diversity of the asset building field and the field’s racial wealth divide analysis and best practices. Additionally, she supports knowledgeable and intentional understanding and the impact of programs and policy as it relates to Racial Wealth Divide. White brings extensive experience in advancing the conversation on race, culture, as well as promote the interests of diversity and inclusion as a bridge to greater understanding.
Prior to joining Prosperity Now, she worked as a program manager for the Racial Equity, Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT), and Civic Engagement team at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. In this role, she supported the national and place-based strategic programming functions at the foundation while acting as a key resource in the compilation, organization, utilization and communication of information and knowledge. She serves as an internal and external liaison/coordinator with ongoing programming efforts and provided technical support to grantees and colleagues.
White has a bachelor’s degree from Colorado Technical University, where she majored in information technology and holds several business certificates, including organizational systems improvement and project planning. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a nonprofit leadership management emphasis from Western Michigan University.
