Kamolika Das is a State & Local Policy Manager at Prosperity Now. In this role, Kamolika helps advance policy development, analysis, and advocacy on critical asset building policies across the nation. Prior to joining Prosperity Now, Kamolika interned at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) where she researched the policies that dictate how different states spend federal dollars dedicated to improving outcomes for former foster youth. Before attending graduate school to refocus her career on domestic social policy, she spent several years at a cybersecurity consulting firm researching and analyzing federal cybersecurity policies, regulations, and proposed legislation for government and private sector clients.
Kamolika holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College.
