Each year, $660 billion in tax incentives go to support wealth building in important areas such as homeownership, higher education and retirement. However, the vast majority of this money goes to the very wealthy who need it the least. Tax plans currently being considered by leaders in Congress and the incoming Administration would make this problem even worse. We need tax reform that will provide more help to low- and moderate-income households to build wealth and get ahead.
