Attend Our Free Northwest Regional Prosperity Summits!
This spring, Prosperity Now, with support from the Northwest Area Foundation, will host two Northwest Regional Prosperity Summits in Des Moines, IA and Boise, ID. During these Summits – on April 3 and April 23 respectively – practitioners and advocates will gather to learn and share the latest tools, resources and information on advancing financial well-being. These free Summits are designed in partnership with teams of local practitioners to ensure they are relevant, valuable and helpful for the region.
- Expand your learning on the latest ideas and solutions in the region to increase economic opportunity and close the racial wealth divide
- Connect to powerful tools, resources and information to advance your program and/or policy efforts
- Strengthen your networks and local leaders to mobilize partners for action around key issues
- Spark and build lasting partnerships within the region
In Des Moines on April 3, our focus will be on training and learning in the realm of human insights, community mapping and human-centered design – in other words, ways to design programs that are more tailored to fit clients’ lives and reflective of clients’ preferences, environment and behaviors. The gathering in Boise on April 23 will center on using a racial equity lens in our work – why it’s so important, and how to implement it. Both Northwest Regional Prosperity Summits are free; advance registration is required. You are welcome to sign up for either event (or both!). We also have stipends available to help cover the costs of your travel and accommodations – but you must register by March 15 to be eligible. Details about the stipend program can be found on each Summit's registration page.
These Summits are for Prosperity Now Community members who live in the Northwest Area Foundation footprint, which includes the following states: Iowa, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Washington and Native communities. Please share this opportunity with your local partners and members. We look forward to seeing our Northwest community this Spring!
