Prosperity Now Board of Directors Officially Launches President Search
After 26 years on staff and 14 years as president, Andrea Levere is stepping down as Prosperity Now’s chief executive, transitioning this robust institution to its next generation of leadership. The board of directors has officially launched the search for her successor.
Prosperity Now is looking for a strategically oriented leader capable of guiding this dynamic, multi-faceted institution to its next level of growth and/or impact. While preserving the organization’s leadership around issues of wealth building and economic empowerment, the president will bring new ideas to Prosperity Now’s mission and core values so that both internal and external stakeholders can galvanize around unified priorities and goals.
Mindful of institutional continuity, the president will provide a vision for moving the organization to fulfilling its highest and best role in a rapidly shifting political and social environment. She/he will need to refine and retool Prosperity Now’s strategic framework and project portfolio in order to keep the organization’s work relevant, innovative and a source of real solutions to the country’s most pressing economic problems.
Reporting to the board of directors, and partnering with a strong leadership team and staff, she/he will ensure that the organization is fiscally and operationally sound and remains mission-aligned. Additionally, as Prosperity Now’s chief advocate and fundraiser, the president will continue to identify and engage both individual and institutional partners to help further Prosperity Now’s bold agenda.
The board welcomes nominations for this exciting leadership opportunity and encourages you to review the full position description, including application directions.
