Children’s Savings Account Learning Series

-

This fall, the Children’s Savings team at Prosperity Now will host three virtual learning events on various topics related to the children’s savings field. We will bring together researchers, practitioners, and other key stakeholders to share recent papers and discuss new innovations such as the integration of rewards cards into CSA programs, designing programs with community engagement and equity in mind, and statewide CSA policy recommendations. These webinars will provide an opportunity to have a robust conversation with leaders in the CSA field on emerging topics. By registering for one virtual event, you will be invited to the events in the full series. We look forward to having you join us!

Integrating Rewards Cards Benefits into Children’s Savings Programs

You’ll learn about the results of a pilot program implemented by Wabash County Promise and St. Louis College Kids in which a rebate from families’ spending at local grocery stores was routed directly into participants’ CSAs to build savings for postsecondary education. Findings from the pilot are captured in a report released by the Center on Assets, Education, and Inclusion, The Impact of Grocery Store Rewards Cards on Savings and Asset Accumulation In Children’s Savings Account Program.
