Chrissi Johnson is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Prosperity Now, where she leads enterprise-wide strategies that strengthen economic opportunity and financial stability. She brings nearly two decades of experience across government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, with expertise in public affairs, policy development, and strategic engagement.
Chrissi’s career spans leadership roles at Rocket Companies, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and on Capitol Hill with Senators Elizabeth Warren and Al Franken. She also served on the Obama 2008 campaign and Presidential Transition Team. Her experience gives her a unique perspective at the intersection of consumer protection, financial services, and cross-sector collaboration.
In addition to her role at Prosperity Now, Chrissi is the founder of Alinement Advisors and The Alinement Initiative, and co-host of the REalinement Retreat, initiatives that convene leaders to align housing policy, real estate technology, and community-centered solutions. She has served on multiple national boards and advisory councils focused on housing, mortgage finance, and community reinvestment.
