Holden Weisman is an Associate Director of Policy at Prosperity Now. In this role, Holden supports efforts to research and develop strategies for the implementation of state and local policies focused on improving the financial security of low- and moderate-income households in communities across the country. He also helps manage Prosperity Now's annual Scorecard, analyzing and documenting state and local progress on a range of policies focused on asset building, asset protection and equitable economic development.
Previously, Holden served as the Senior Policy Analyst for the National Community Tax Coalition (NCTC). While at NCTC, he researched and analyzed federal and state policies related to taxes and consumer protections for low- and moderate-income working households. As part of NCTC’s Policy and Advocacy Team, Holden advocated on behalf of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance programs and other initiatives related to the community tax preparation field.
Holden holds a Master of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
