Joanna Ain is an Associate Director of Policy at Prosperity Now. In this role, she focuses on policies that help working families save and support turning the tax code right-side up. Joanna came to Prosperity Now after six years at the Housing Corporation of Arlington, a nonprofit community development corporation in Arlington, Massachusetts. There, she implemented Arlington’s Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program with federal stimulus money and managed the organization’s fundraising, marketing and policy work. Joanna began her post-college career at the Jewish National Fund, working in their Boston office to raise funds for infrastructure development in Israel.
Joanna holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cornell University. Outside of the office, she plays the bassoon, volunteers for VITA (the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program) and is a Director of the Cornell Club of Washington.
