Tools for Integrating Credit-Building Services
The tools below are designed for organizations interested in integrating credit-building products and services into their programs. They will help you identify which services are the best fit for your clients, decide who can provide those services and develop a plan for delivering the services. The tools are adapted from the planning tools in the Administration for Children and Families’ Building Financial Capability: A Planning Guide for Integrated Services to focus on integration of credit-building products and services. The tools were originally designed for programs serving youth transitioning from foster care but can be used for programs serving other vulnerable populations with credit-building needs. The tools in Section 1 should be done in chronological order and early on in your planning process, whereas the tools in the other sections can be done on an as-needed basis.
